2021I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.
YesI wanted to earn my degree because:
I wanted to be the first in my bloodline to do so. It was a personal goal I had set for myself.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My wife, who took care of the kids on those late nights both abroad and at the kitchen table. The entirety of the faculty at three rivers, who helped me grow one class at a time.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
Profesora Celeste Arrieta, Professor Bill Dopirak
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
I earned every square inch of it
What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
The community. Learning and growing with like minded individuals of the same purpose in an intimate setting.
I plan to use my degree to:
Further my career and transfer to a 4-year college.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
Completing more college.
What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
The tight knit appeal of a community college.
