If you are a student seeking preparation for entry-level case management positions in social services agencies, this program is for you. If you are already employed in social service organizations performing case management, you will acquire specific skills that will improve your career advancement opportunities. You will learn to apply the standard functions performed in case management, will be able to identify and index community resources, and will be prepared to conduct in-person assessments in order to develop individual treatment plans for effective interventions with vulnerable populations. The case management model will be applied in various areas of direct practice, e.g., child welfare, gerontology, substance abuse, mental health, housing and income maintenance.
