[If you are applying for any other degree or certificate, go here for information on enrolling.]
How to Enroll for Online Programs
1 – Enroll online by going here to the Three Rivers online application. You can find Step-by-Step Instructions for Completing an Online Application here. A valid email is required to complete the online application
International Students – Learn more about your admissions process here.
2- To enroll, you will need the following:
a. Proof of High School Completion – Submit one of the following to the Admissions Office: a copy of your high school transcript with graduation date, high school diploma, GED certificate or State High School Equivalency diploma.
b. Provide Accuplacer Placement Test Waiver – Every incoming student is assessed for Math and English skills, which are generally evaluated through the placement test. However, documentation of previously earned college-level credits may fulfill your requirement. To be waived from this placement test, an unofficial college transcript showing prior English and math coursework must be included with this application.
If you are not eligible for the test waiver, you may schedule your Accuplacer Placement Test at the Three Rivers TimeCenter. This placement test can also be taken at any other Connecticut community college which are located throughout the state. If you are from outside Connecticut, call our Testing Center at 860-215-9061 to find out if there is a testing center near you.
3. With this form, you can also register for courses. To register for courses,
a. Find the list of required classes and their descriptions under the Course tab at General Studies (Online Option) or Library Technology Certificate.
b. Visit the Schedule of Classes to find which of these courses will be offered during the semester, and to get the CRN, Subj, etc. for the form
c. Proof of prerequisite is required to register for many courses. See the course description on your program page (see 3a above) for specific course prerequisites. Attach a copy of your college transcript indicating that you have met this requirement.
Your Three Rivers Admissions Acceptance Letter will be sent to the email address you provide on your enrollment form.

Important Exceptions

Fees for Student Activity and Transportation are also waived. Again, however, if you choose to register for any on-campus class, both fees would be charges for that semester.
