While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My lovely partner, Hillary Fundin; my dogs, Lila and Harlow; and my cat, Riley. Through all of the sleepless nights, frozen pizzas, and job changes, they had my back.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Professor Barry, who in my first semester helped me produce some of the best work I had done in a decade. Thanks for being the positive role model I needed to continue on my path to becoming an English teacher. I'm not there yet, but I am trying!

I plan to use my degree to:

Continue working as a paraprofessional in my local school district. I am one step closer to my goal of teaching!
