I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I wanted to be the first in my family to go to college and blaze the path for my sister and niece!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family, 110%! They were there when I was doing great and when I didn’t want to do anything at all!

I’d like to give a shout out to:

My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Without the Lord I wouldn’t have had a car to make it to my first class!

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

I liked that it gave me a taste of everything to really help me understand what I liked and didn’t. It means that if I can start and finish an associate’s degree I can definitely get my bachelor’s!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

I enjoyed how the teachers were involved with the students and rallied around us to help us pass and persevere!

I plan to use my degree to:

To continue my education in management and run a company one day.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

I am looking forward to days off and no due dates!

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

I will miss the support of the teachers! The teacher I remember most is Jodi Calvert! She was amazing and really made my first class fun!
