Juliet Inga Walker
Liberal Arts and Sciences, A.A.

Current Residence :

Lebanon, CT

Degree/Certificate:

Liberal Arts and Sciences, A.A.

Year of Graduation:

2023

I wanted to earn my degree because:

An Associate degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from TRCC was the first step toward my goal of becoming a Licensed Acupuncturist and pursuing a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

To my family and friends: Thank you for encouraging me and offering emotional support through the highs and lows of earning this degree.
To my Mom: Thank you for encouraging me through each and every semester and celebrating every grade that I worked hard to earn.
To my Husband: Thank you for your unwavering faith in me to achieve my dreams and for being my anchor through life's storms.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Professor of Psychology, Dr. Bev Knox, and Professor of English, Susan Topping, both of whom have left a lasting impact on my life during my studies at TRCC. Thank you for committing yourself to the success of all your students. What I have gained from your classes will stay with me for a lifetime.

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

Earning my Associate degree is one of the biggest accomplishments I have achieved in my life. I set out with a goal to graduate with straight A's on my transcript, and I am proud to say I have accomplished that goal.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

The welcoming campus, supportive faculty, and inspirational professors.

Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

I plan to use my degree to:

Continue my education to attain a Bachelor's in Health Science and a Master's of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

Enjoying a well-earned summer off with my Husband to enjoy our honeymoon before continuing my education.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

The campus and amazing professors that I have had the privilege of learning from.
