👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I am so proud of you my daughter.
Parenting is a journey but you have made the experience delightful.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn and share your joy for life and learning.
I will be the crazy mommy screaming in the audience, “ that’s MY BABY”.

Hello, Melanie. I want to tell you, this is an excellent achievement you have accomplished. Your father’s creativity has passed on to you 100%. I know for a fact your parents are very proud of you. Keep on going onto higher levels and remember, never give up on yourself. Great things are in the future for you.

Degree/Certificate:

Graphic Design, A.S.

Year of Graduation:

2023

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I wanted to be trained in something I love so that I could get a satisfying position, whether it be in the workforce or in my private life.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family, fellow students, and even some professors at the school!

I’d like to give a shout out to:

My mum and my family as they encouraged me through both the rough times and the good times. I also want to give a shoutout to the students I met at Three Rivers because they kept me coming back with their unique wit.

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

I like how diverse my degree program is and it showed me the best parts of art and the parts I need to work on. This degree has helped me to understand that I can find something that is suited to my talents and grow it to be something beautiful.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

meeting so many people who inspired me in different ways to continue on and shine.

Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

The President of The Current in Student Government and The photographer for Students Programs.

I plan to use my degree to:

go into the workforce as I explore more about design and life. Plus, I might even travel or continue into University; you never know what life can bring!

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

seeing what comes at me next.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

the people.
