2022I wanted to earn my degree because:
Firstly, because I wanted to create a better life for my family.
Lastly, because I wanted to be a good example to my little boys; I want them to grow up knowing they can be and do anything they set their minds to.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My wife was and still is my greatest supporter. Without her, it would have been very difficult. My kids too, did their best in their little ways by keeping the noise down whenever they knew I was studying, even though that hardly worked. Haha.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
The Lord Jesus for giving me the grace to complete what I started. My family for standing by me, and Mohegan Sun Casino for not just giving me a job, but also finding ways to work with me in terms of my class schedules.
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
I like the fact that it opens an enormous window of opportunities in terms of career choices.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
My professors were mostly amazing, and I made a few friends.
Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:
I was and still am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, and recently became a member of the Epsilon Pi Tau organization.
I plan to use my degree to:
Get a job while continuing in a four year college.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
Getting a decent job, starting my own tech startup, and spending more time with my family while I continue to further my education.
What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
The financial help I got mostly from aids and support from my professors.
