Criminal Justice – Enforcement Option, A.S.Year of Graduation:
2022I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.
YesI wanted to earn my degree because:
I wanted to make my family proud by obtaining a higher education degree as well as educational growth in the Criminal Justice field. My interested in a career in the criminal Justice field motivated me to learn more and find my stepping stones. I wanted to set a challenge and execute my goals.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My Mother, My Grandmother (R.I.P), my partner, my cousin Sharisse, and my colleagues at work.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
Professor Jeffrey Nixon: Without your authenticity, teaching methods, and overall professionalism, my motivation to conquer my educational goals would have been slim. Thank you for the learning opportunity and the inspiration you provided me these past few years.
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
One thing I like best about my degree program is the professors. The professors seem to have an extensive work history within the field and provide amazing references as well as share their personal experiences. This degree program means a lot to me and my family. Since the age of seven I always knew the criminal justice field was where I belonged.
I plan to use my degree to:
Continue my educational goals in obtaining my B.A in Criminology as well as further my career within the criminal justice system.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
I am not done yet! My next plan is to obtain a paralegal certification and transfer to Central Connecticut State University for a B.A. in Criminology.
