Nursing, A.S.I will also be graduating with the following additional degree(s) and certificates
General Studies, A.S.Year of Graduation:
2023I wanted to earn my degree because:
They say that if you want to make a difference in the world you have to start out with yourself. As a proud hispanic and immigrant, I want to be a valued and productive member of society. I also wanted to set an example and show my daughter Dalissa that anything is possible as long as you keep your eyes on the prize, work hard, and never lose focus despite of whatever is going on around you.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My family for always encouraging me.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
All of the instructors who believed in me. Especially Leanne LaRose, Linda Moscaritolo, Renee Malaro, Carol Emmerthal, Melissa Neill, and Rachael Smith. Also my previous department at Lawrence&Memorial Hospital for working with me during school.
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
I will be able to help and give comfort during the most vulnerable and uncomfortable periods in someone's life.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
All the great bonds and friendships I built.
I plan to use my degree to:
I am currently working as a Neurology Nurse at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
Continuing to learn and being the best nurse I can be.
What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
Hanging out with the people that understood my suffering throughout nursing school, which were my classmates, and especially Leanne LaRose's Kahoot games!
