Course Description

A Web Developer is responsible for ensuring websites look good and function properly. Web developers collaborate with website and graphic designers, monitor website traffic, troubleshoot website problems when they arise, and update websites as necessary. These classes are offered in a progression from beginner to advanced level which will also enable participants to earn two individual industry recognized certificates in addition to the overall Web Developer Certificate. Learning outcomes include:
• Students will learn HTML programming for the web.
• Students will learn Cascading Style Sheet formatting.
• Students will learn some of the most popular web tools such as WordPress and Wix.
• More advanced topics such as CMS and Building Dynamic Websites will also be covered.
• Students will demonstrate their proficiency by maintaining their own portfolio.
• Basic Language Elements.
• Object Oriented Programming.
• Web Application Basics.
• Utility Methods for Arrays, Observable and Observer Objects, Date & Times, Using Scanner Regular Expression.
• GUI Programming.

Duration of Training

482 hours: Class 4 days a week (Full time option. Part-time is also available). Instruction includes instructor and self-study training. The Google Data Analytics is 180hrs and the Google UX Design courses is 200hrs of self-study training, of which 50hrs for each course will be facilitated by an instructor.
